Rasmus Munk - the first WFP Goodwill Ambassador from the Nordics - is calling on the global gastronomy community to join our campaign “Serving Change” to raise awareness and funds to help fight hunger around the world. "I’m calling on chefs, restaurants, and food lovers around the world, to help us donate meals to those who need them most." The World Food Programme can feed a child for a day for just 80 cents/ 5 kr. – so every donation, small or large, can change lives.

Rasmus Munk is WFP's first Goodwill Ambassador from the Nordics, an internationally acclaimed chef and one of the most innovative voices in contemporary gastronomy. He is the founder and head chef of Alchemist in Copenhagen, a pioneering restaurant that redefines dining as a multi‑sensory and socially conscious experience. Since opening Alchemist in 2019, Rasmus Munk has gained global acclaim for pushing culinary boundaries and addressing complex societal issues—such as food systems, sustainability, and human rights—through his work. Rasmus Munk has long used gastronomy as a platform for social commentary, and his innovation center Spora, is focused on exploring new protein sources, upcycled ingredients, and breakthrough technologies designed to transform global food systems and expand access to sustainable and nutritious food. In addition to founding the JunkFood initiative during the COVID‑19 pandemic to support Denmark’s homeless, Munk launched Serving Change, a global platform that uses gastronomy, advocacy and partnerships to raise awareness and mobilize action on pressing humanitarian challenges. In 2024 and 2025, he was named ”World’s Best Chef” by The Best Chef Awards.
