About
Since 1999, Peace One Day has been the driving force behind the creation, growth, and engagement of Peace Day, 21 September. In terms of true global resonance around a recurring calendar date, little compares to Peace Day. Year after year, cumulative data shows that this is the day when more people are talking about “peace” than any other. The impact? A measurable reduction in violence and death, alongside a surge in acts of kindness, reconciliation, and community development, globally. Today, Peace Day represents one of humanity’s greatest opportunities to harness the power of global community. A tangible stepping stone toward the sustainable, peaceful future we all seek. This is the result of a remarkable 25-year journey that is Peace One Day.
